These Buster Brown comics are great! Though this represents a portion of the work created by Richard Felton Outcault, the collection is assembled chronologically, which makes it easy to follow the progression of the protagonist's escapades. I was left wanting more! The pages appear to be photocopies and smaller reproductions from the original, larger newsprint pages; occasionally the print is faint on some of the pages. But since the stories are precious and the artwork by the cartoonist outstanding, I was willing to overlook these "defects." Overall, a fine collection of work, and I recommend it.Product details

The strips are shrunk down so small that they are difficult to read. They are scans of full color strips reprinted in black and white, so they are a grayscale murky mess.
These Buster Brown comics are great!
